Oak Summit Golf Course
This public golf course is set on 240 acres of land, and it features a challenging par 70, 18-hole layout characterized by rolling hills and mature trees in between. The idea was born by Leon DeCook, who decided to convert his farmland into a golf course in 1991. It was open a year later, and Leon made sure it was challenging enough even to experienced golfers.
The course is open to men’s, women’s, senior, and championship tees, with the championship tees adding an extra 379 yards to the course layout. Amenities include a driving range, snack bar, pro shop, and golfing lessons.
Willow Creek Golf Course
Willow Creek is just a few minutes from downtown Rochester, and it boasts of an 18-hole championship course. What’s more, it has the only executive golf course in the city which has nine par 29 holes. This executive course is ideal for training or quick rounds.
