2020 Toyota Sienna in Rochester, MN | Toyota Dealership

If you are looking for a new family vehicle, then you should check out the 2020 Toyota Sienna. It is a minivan that Toyota packed full of some of the best features available. It can make your daily commute with your family much easier and more enjoyable. The key is understanding how each feature can impact your trip. Here is a look at the top four family-friendly features of the 2020 Toyota Sienna.

Toyota Safety Sense P

Every Toyota vehicle including the 2020 Toyota Sienna has the Toyota Safety Sense P package. It is a collection of safety features to help make driving with your family safer. It includes features like the Lane Departure Warning system that monitors your blind spots and warns you if there is a car there when you try to switch lanes. These features make driving safer by looking for things that you can’t see. They also help you be less stressed when driving.

Radar Cruise Control

Another useful feature is the Radar Cruise Control. It uses a radar array on the front of your vehicle to look for vehicles in your lane. When you set the cruise control, it works like normal. If the Sienna senses a car in your lane, it will slow down to match its speed at safe distance. When the car leaves, the cruise control returns to the speed that you set. It is a great way to take away some of the stress while driving, especially with a distracting family in the car.

Three Climate Control Zones

Keeping your family comfortable in the car can be a compromise between everyone’s needs. However, the Toyota Sienna can solve this problem. It has three separate climate control zones. That way, you can set separate conditions for the driver, the passenger, and the back. Everyone can be comfortable without having to compromise. It is especially helpful if you have smaller, temperature-sensitive kids in the back.

Dual-View Blu-ray Disc™ Entertainment Center

Keeping your family entertained during a drive can be a challenge, but the Sienna has you covered on that too. There is an available Dual-View Blu-ray Disc™ Entertainment Center. It has a large 16.4-inch mounted on in the ceiling so that your kids can watch Blu-rays on the trip. It can show one large wide-screen image, or split into two images so that everyone can watch something different. It can even take input from two different sources at the same time, which makes finding something for everyone to watch much easier.

The Toyota Sienna can be one of the best options for you and your family thanks to all of its features. There are plenty more features worth checking out that are designed to make traveling with your family much easier. Electric All-Wheel Drive

Most drivers have to choose between all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive. However, the 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid has the ability to do both because of its electric all-wheel drive system. When you need the added traction control, you can switch the system on. It will use the battery and electric motor to give you the extra drive that you need to get through tough situations. The best part is that it has a dedicated motor that is always available to supply extra power and give you a burst of added traction.

ECVT

Many drivers dread cars with CVTs, but the 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid has an enhanced version that gives you the solid performance and feel that you are looking for. The ECVT (Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission) adapts to your driving needs and gives you a smooth taper between speed settings. That way, it can exactly match what your engine puts out for the best possible performance. The best part is that the added precision in the powertrain means that you get more power without wasting fuel, making the RAV4 Hybrid more fuel-efficient.

Multi-informational Display

Another feature that you will like is the multi-informational display. It replaces your instrument gauge with a digital display. You can choose what information is displayed, like designing your own gauge panel. It makes it easier to get the information that you need quickly and easily. Plus, it is easy to see in any conditions making it a great option for driving at night.

The 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid underwent a serious redesign, and there are plenty of other features to check out. That includes four trim levels for you to choose from. Luckily, Rochester has plenty of places where you can get out of the heat by going for a swim. With both indoor and outdoor swimming options available in the area, you should have no trouble finding a place to go for a dip this summer. Check out these places where you can go Summer Swiming in Rochester, MN.

The Rec Center

The Rochester Recreation Center sits right along Broadway where it meets Elton Hills Drive. The city of Rochester owns the center, so everyone is welcome and the entry fee is a very reasonable $5 per adult and $4 per child. With that fee you can visit any of the pools, ice rinks, and gymnasiums the center has to offer, and all of them are completely indoors and offer some very modern facilities. The center sometimes hosts sporting events like hockey games and swim meets, and you can also sign up for swimming and skating lessons.

The Rochester Athletic Club

The Rochester Athletic Club (RAC) sits on 19th Street between West Circle Drive and Valleyhigh Drive near Costco. It’s been there for many years, but thanks to an active membership it still has plenty of modern facilities where you can train with weights, jog, eat a healthy meal, or go for a swim in one of their indoor or outdoor pools. The outdoor pool even features a fun water slide. However, you need to be a member to get access, and membership fees are as pricey as you’d expect.

Soldier’s Field

Soldier’s Field is a public park, a memorial, and a public 18-hole golf course rolled into one. The park’s facilities also include a baseball diamond, a tennis court, and an outdoor swimming pool. The pool has a curvy water slide of its own, and kids will enjoy splashing around in the zero-depth pool on the other side of the field. The pool is only open during summer afternoons, but since it’s a public pool the entry fee is only $5 for adults and $4 for kids. You’ll find the entrance to Soldier’s Field on 7th Street Southwest just off Broadway.

Zumbro River Ratz

Zumbro River Ratz is a company that rents boats and other floatation devices for a stretch of the Zumbro River between Hammond and Millville. The starting location is easy enough to find by following US-63 north and taking County Road 11 east, and once you’re there you can choose between several types of kayak, canoes, or vinyl tubes that will let you get wet and stay wet for the whole trip downstream. Zumbro River Ratz takes care of the shuttle upriver, but keep in mind they’re only open for walk-ins during the summer months.

When you want to enjoy the water on a hot Minnesota summer day, you can take your pick of the many athletic clubs and public pools the city has to offer. And if you want something a little more adventerous, you won’t have to travel far to find it.

2020 Toyota Models in Rochester, MN

Toyota has always been an innovator. From the release of the Prius to the Safety Sense system, the global leaders in the automotive market always seem to have something to add to a seemingly flooded market. In 2020, Toyota continues its run of form with a number of intriguing new models. While details are still somewhat scant, the 2020 Toyota lineup has all the makings of a legendary class of automobiles.

2020 Toyota GR Supra

It’s finally happened. Toyota has revived the Supra after 17 years of speculation and rumors. For many fans of the brand, they thought this day would never come, but kudos to those who never gave up hope. In 2020, the Supra returns to the lineup as the Toyota GR Supra. A pure sports car of this variety has been absent from Toyota’s fleet for over a decade, but with superior styling and handling, the GR Supra is ready to blow minds and steal hearts.

Beneath the hood, the GR goes with a 3.0-liter turbocharged twin-scroll V-6 that delivers 335 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque for a zero to 60 mph of only 4.1 seconds to go along with a top speed of 155 mph. Masterfully crafted, the 2020 Toyota GR Supra is perhaps the most anticipated release of the year.

2020 Toyota Tacoma

Although the third generation of the Tacoma hit showrooms in 2016, Toyota refreshes its midsize truck offering to compete with new entrants and other competitors in the market. A redesigned grille, restyled taillights, and standard LED lights adorn the exterior of the 2020 Toyota Tacoma, while the interior gets a mishmash of new amenities.

At the heart of the interior upgrade is an 8-inch color touch-screen display that allows you to navigate the Entune 3.0 infotainment system, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. Other highlights include crawl control and a multi-terrain monitor for a precision off-roading experience, as well as all-new advanced and driver-assist safety features.

2020 Toyota Yaris Hatchback

When the original Yaris disappeared from the Toyota lineup and the Yaris iA became the new Yaris, it left a void in Toyota’s hatchback lineup. Fortunately, the Japanese automaker didn’t overlook this indiscretion. In 2020, the Yaris Hatchback hits dealerships offering versatility and fun in an affordable compact hatchback format.

Designed for commuters, families, and the thrifty, the 2020 Yaris Hatchback offers an exclusive mix of efficiency and capability. While Toyota has yet to release information on the engine, expect it to offer premium fuel efficiency paired with either a standard manual transmission or an optional automatic transmission.

The cockpit of the Yaris has also been completely redone, providing top-notch amenities you typically find in cars twice the price. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, a backup camera, voice recognition, and a vibrant 7-inch color touch screen highlight the standout amenities of this all-new model.

Although the information is scarce on some of these models, Toyota’s impressive resume from recent years should only fuel your excitement. Look for these vehicles to hit showrooms later in 2019 or early in 2020.

Zollman Zoo

To entertain the kids, take a trip over to Zollman Zoo. Located in nearby Byron, this zoo houses over 30 native species for people to enjoy up-close. Some of the animals you’ll find in the zoo include bald eagles, owls, wolves, river otters, bison, cougars, and coyotes. The zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
