One of the major turnoffs for us when it came to previous years’ models was the multimedia technology. But this year, Toyota has pulled out all the stops. The new dashboard-mounted touch-screen is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so all smartphone users will be able to use many of their favorite features directly through their 4Runner. This includes music streaming, directions, and phone calls.
Driver-Assist Systems
The 2020 4Runner will come with more access to more driver-assist features than it ever has. The Toyota Safety Sense suite that was once optional is now standard. It includes features such as automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot assist, and lane departure warning. These technologies improve the way you drive by raising awareness of the road around you, no matter how high your skill level.
