Toyota got Supra fans excited when the car manufacturer recently announced that an all-new fifth-generation of the sports car would hit the market. Although the vehicle is being designed in partnership with BMW, Toyota says it hasn’t strayed far from the sports car’s iconic traits. While earlier generations of the Supra had more rounded edges and corners, the 2020 Supra will have an aggressive style that features contoured lines, sharp angles, a sculpted form, and pronounced curves that run the length of its body. You’ll also find plenty of features that help with aerodynamics and add to the modern style of the vehicle, including large scoops, a double-bubble roof, and an integrated rear spoiler. Not only does the Toyota Supra’s double-bubble roof add more aerodynamics to the vehicle, but it also provides some extra headroom inside. The Supra’s modern interior is also suited for racing. It features a digital instrument cluster that provides important driving data and narrow racing seats that have integrated head restraints and shoulder bolsters for support. Impressive Power

Press down on the gas pedal and you’ll enjoy a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine that combines with an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters to deliver 335 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque. Toyota says this will be the quickest Supra ever produced, with a top speed of 155 miles per hour and a zero-to-60-mph time of 4.1 seconds.
Plenty of Safety Features
Like most current Toyota vehicles, the 2020 Supra should come with plenty of advanced safety features, such as forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking. The vehicle will likely also be available with rear collision warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and traffic sign recognition.
