2020 Toyota Corolla in Rochester, MN | Rochester Toyota Dealership

Toyota recently announced a striking new redesign for the 2020 Corolla, and it includes plenty of things to get excited about. Learn more about what you can expect with the upcoming redesign so you can start looking forward to everything the new Corolla has to offer.

Striking New Appearance

The body of the 2020 Toyota Corolla will offer a sportier and more athletic look. While the new Corolla will ride on the same wheelbase as the outgoing model, the hood and roof have been lowered for a more streamlined appearance. The new sedan will also have a wider stance than older models. The higher trim levels will ride on larger 18-inch wheels and feature a more aggressive grille. Plus, every trim level will now be able to enjoy the brightness and efficiency of standard LED headlights.

Several Engine Options

The new Corolla will have several engines available. The standard engine will be a more powerful 1.8-liter option that will produce 139 horsepower and 126 pound-feet of torque, which is an improvement from the outgoing model’s 132 horsepower. The Corolla will also have an available 2.0-liter engine that delivers 169 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. Plus, for the first time ever, the vehicle will come with a hybrid engine option that combines outstanding efficiency with the stunning good looks of the Corolla.

Modern Interior

Toyota is calling the new cabin design inside the 2020 Corolla “sensuous minimalism.” The idea is to provide a simple and open design that’s modern and inviting. The interior will blend matte and glossy finishes to offer a more upscale look. The dashboard and instrument panel are lower to help increase visibility. While the sedan comes standard with cloth upholstery, you can also opt for the available two-tone leather upholstery for a softer feel inside the vehicle.

Fantastic Technology

If you’re searching for a new Toyota that offers some of the latest technology features, you’ll love what you can find inside the 2020 Corolla. The base model will come standard with an infotainment system that has a 7-inch touch-screen display. All the other trims will have Toyota’s Entune 3.0 infotainment system, which includes an 8-inch touch-screen display, Apple CarPlay, Siri Eyes Free, Amazon Alexa, two USB ports, Wi-Fi hot spot, and an upgraded audio system. The Corolla will also be available with Remote Connect with Apple Watch compatibility, which can remotely start the vehicle, lock and unlock doors, and more.

Updated Safety Features

The 2020 Toyota Corolla will come standard with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. This suite of advanced driver-assistive technologies will include dynamic radar cruise control, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, lane centering assist, lane keep assist, automatic high beams, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, and automatic emergency braking. Additionally, blind spot monitoring is a safety feature that will be available on higher Corolla trims.

These are just some of the features of the all-new 2020 Toyota Corolla that you can get excited about. To discover even more, take one for a spin when it hits the market in spring 2019.
