2. Chocolaterie Stam
This delightful place is firstly a chocolate shop but well known for its delicious, smooth, and creamy gelato. Everything about this place creates a high-quality experience, decorated beautifully, it truly feels like you have stepped back in time. Flavors include Creme Brulee, Toasted Almond, Salted Caramel Chocolate, and Cookies and Cream. They also offer delicious sorbetto and, of course, amazing chocolates.
3. Cold Stone Creamery
This is the perfect place to take family or friends who enjoy theatrics with their sweet treats. Fresh base flavors are made every day on the premises, you simply choose one and then any extras you like. Staff then expertly mix your chosen ingredients on a frozen slab of granite, and hey presto you have your very own flavor. But if you’re not feeling too creative they do offer their own signature flavors with unique names such as Peanut Butter Pretzel Time or Birthday Cake Remix.
4. Cherry Berry
This is technically a frozen yogurt buffet, but we felt it worthy of this list. You simply select a tub and fill it up with the fresh frozen yogurt and toppings on offer, staff then price your desert by weight. They offer no-sugar-added, dairy-free, and gluten-free options. It’s a brilliant place for those with dietary requirements or who prefer a healthier option. They also provide healthy toppings such as fruit and nuts.
5. That’s How We Roll
This fun little place is a new addition to the town. They make your chosen treat right in front of you by scraping and rolling a cream mixture over a cold slab. You get a lot for your money and the flavors are good. We recommend trying Banana and Nutella with whatever topping takes your fancy.
6. Carroll’s Cup
This sweet stop offers self-serve frozen treats in ever-changing flavors. They offer fresh and healthy toppings such as fruit and granola, as well as more indulgent ones. The staff here are friendly and can even point you in the direction of Carroll’s Caramel Popcorn, a local favorite.
