Why Tundra
Why look at the 2026 Toyota Tundra?
It is a full-size pickup with a choice of two twin-turbo V6 engines, ten trims from $41,260 to $80,800 and a bed built for real work. Here is what sets it apart.

Toyota lists up to 12,000 pounds of towing and 1,850 pounds of payload, on a fully boxed steel frame with an aluminum-reinforced composite bed.

Available features include a Panoramic View Monitor, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, a 14-inch touchscreen and Trailer Backup Guide with Straight Path Assist.

Specs
How much power, towing and payload does the Tundra have?
Two engines, one 10-speed automatic and a lot of pulling power. These are Toyota's figures for the 2026 model year.
i-FORCE MAX hybrid
437 hp
583 lb-ft of torque
i-FORCE twin-turbo V6
389 hp
479 lb-ft of torque

12,000 lb
varies by configuration

1,850 lb
varies by configuration
Horsepower and torque are Toyota's published figures. The SR is rated 358 hp and 406 lb-ft. Towing and payload vary by cab, bed, engine, drive system and equipment, and the maximums apply to specific configurations. Always confirm a truck's exact rating on its door-jamb label and in the owner's manual before towing or hauling.
Design
What does the Tundra look like inside and out?
A tall, squared-off stance up front and a cabin built for people and gear. The CrewMax and Double Cab cabs both come with a choice of beds. See one in person at Rochester Toyota and sit in the back before you decide.

Towing and hauling
How much can a Tundra tow and haul?
Toyota lists up to 12,000 pounds of towing and 1,850 pounds of payload on the 2026 Tundra. Which number you get depends on the setup.
Up to 12,000 lb towing
The i-FORCE MAX hybrid has the most torque, at 583 lb-ft, which helps when you are pulling a boat or a camper up a grade. The i-FORCE V6 has 479 lb-ft and does the job for most loads.
Up to 1,850 lb payload
A heavier trim or a bigger cab carries less, so match the truck to the load.
Three bed lengths
5.5, 6.5 and 8.1 feet. The 8.1-foot bed is only on the SR and SR5 Double Cab.

Tow with help
Available Trailer Backup Guide with Straight Path Assist helps you steer a trailer in reverse, and power tow mirrors help you see the whole rig. The SR5 lists an integrated trailer brake controller.
A bed that takes a beating
The bed is aluminum-reinforced composite. A deck rail system and a bed camera are available, and the CrewMax has a power vertical rear window.
Power on the jobsite
A 120V/400W AC outlet is available, so you can run tools without a generator. Add the long bed on a Double Cab for fence posts and lumber.
Towing and payload ratings are Toyota's figures for the 2026 model year and vary by configuration. The 1,850-pound payload and 12,000-pound towing maximums apply only to specific trim, cab, bed, engine and drive combinations. Weight of passengers, cargo and accessories reduces what you can tow. Confirm your truck's rating before towing.
Off-road
Which Tundra is built for off-road?
The TRD Pro is the one made for it. If you want less, the TRD Off-Road and TRD Rally packages are available on select trims.

Top off-road trim
TRD Pro and TRD Off-Road
The TRD Pro is the top off-road trim. It has the i-FORCE MAX hybrid and four-wheel drive, FOX shocks with a 1.1-inch front lift, 18-inch BBS forged wheels and Falken WILDPEAK all-terrain tires, and it starts at $72,565 by base MSRP. The TRD Off-Road package is the step down, available on select trims, and what it includes and costs depends on the trim.

Available on select trims
SR5 and TRD Rally Package
The SR5 is one of the trims you can pair with an off-road package, and the TRD Rally Package is available on select trims. TRD Sport is available too. What each package includes and what it costs depends on the trim, so ask us and we will check it with you.
Features
What tech and comfort features does the Tundra offer?
Most of these are available rather than standard, so which ones you get depends on the trim and packages.
Panoramic View Monitor
The available Panoramic View Monitor gives you a view around the truck, which helps in tight parking lots.
12.3-inch digital gauges
The available digital cluster puts your driving information in front of you in a bright, configurable display.
14-inch touchscreen
An available 14-inch touchscreen is part of the Limited equipment, and the Capstone has one with its JBL audio.
Toyota Safety Sense 2.5
Toyota lists it among the Tundra's primary features. It is designed to assist the driver, not replace the driver.
Heat, ventilation and a moonroof
Heated and ventilated front and rear seats, massage seats and a power panoramic moonroof are available, depending on the trim.
Premium sound
The Capstone has a 12-speaker JBL system with the 14-inch screen and semi-aniline leather seats.
Powertrain
i-FORCE or i-FORCE MAX: which engine fits?
Both are twin-turbo V6 engines paired with a 10-speed automatic. One is gas only and one adds an electric motor.
i-FORCE V6
389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque on most trims, with the SR rated at 358 and 406. It is the lower-cost choice and is available on the SR through the 1794 Edition. Pick it if your loads are moderate and you want to keep the price down.
i-FORCE MAX hybrid
437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque, the most the Tundra offers. It is available on the Limited, Platinum and 1794 Edition, and it is the only engine on the TRD Pro and Capstone. By base MSRP, it adds $3,700 to a Limited and about $6,900 to a Platinum or 1794 Edition. Pick it if you tow heavy or want the most torque.
Trims and prices
