2022 Toyota Camry

The XLE is the 2022 Toyota Camry's most luxury-minded trim level. Sitting at the top of the trim level lineup gives it access to many of the Camry's top features. The XLE boasts LED headlights, accent lights, taillights, and daytime running lights. The V-6 models come standard with a panoramic glass rooftop, which is optional for the entry-level XLE. The XLE sits on 18-inch dark gray wheels that give it an elegant and athletic appearance.

The 2022 Camry XLE is available as either a gasoline-exclusive model or a hybrid. The conventional Camry XLE is outfitted with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. If you want more power, you have the option to upgrade this engine to a 301-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine that outputs 267 pound-feet of torque. Both of these engines are equipped with eight-speed automatic transmissions. The hybridized Camry XLE features the same size engine paired with an electric motor. This combination produces up to 208 horsepower and features a continuously variable automatic transmission.

For better torque control around curves and extra traction on slippery roads, opt for a Camry XLE equipped with the available all-wheel-drive system. Use the standard full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control to make your highway cruises easier and more efficient. Use the standard three drive modes — Eco, Normal, and Sport — to customize your sedan's driving style. The hybrid models add an EV mode that lets you use pure electric energy before switching back to gasoline power.

The XLE keeps you relaxed wherever you go with its standard dual-zone automatic climate control with rear-seat vents. The XLE also comes standard with heated front seats and can be outfitted with ventilated seats with an extra package. Between the leather upholstery and leather-wrapped steering wheel, the Camry XLE has an excitingly luxurious cabin atmosphere. The XLE's list of technology features is just as impressive. The XLE is also the first model in the Camry lineup that features the larger 9-inch touch screen that allows you to connect to your smartphone.

Each of the 2022 Toyota Camry models features the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ suite.
