2021 Toyota Venza

The 2021 Toyota Venza is available in three trim levels: the base LE, XLE, and Limited. All trims feature LED headlights and taillights along with alloy wheels. The LE is standard with two-tone 18-inch machine-finished alloy wheels while the upper two trims have 19-inch super chrome alloy wheels. Also optional on the Limited is the Star Gaze fixed panoramic roof with on/off control, transforming from opaque to transparent, and power sunshade. All trims include color-keyed, heated power outside mirrors with turn signal and blind-spot warning indicators, puddle lights, and driver's side auto-folding controls. Another nice feature standard on all trims is the height-adjustable, hands-free power liftgate offering jam protection. Toyota's hybrid system offers performance and power for daily driving.

All trims are equipped with the same powerful engine. This 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine is capable of producing a combined 219 horsepower with the combustion engine and electrical engine. The Venza uses two electric motors to provide power through a continuously variable automatic transmission. A single rear motor also powers the rear wheels when you need extra traction.

All three trims are equipped with all-wheel-drive paired with a continuously variable-speed automatic transmission. The Venza uses the rear motor to power the all-wheel-drive and send available torque to the rear wheels when needed. Own the road in this all-wheel-drive hybrid, regardless of conditions.

The LE trim comes standard with a 4.2-inch LCD Multi-Information Display displaying all information you need on your drive. The upper two trims increase this to a 7-inch model. The Limited offers an optional 10-inch color Head-Up-Display that projects speed and alerts right on to the windshield. Standard on the lower two trims is an 8-inch touch screen Audio plus system featuring Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, advanced voice-recognition capabilities, a six-speaker sound system, USB media port, and an additional 3 USB charging ports. Optional on the XLE, but standard on the Limited, is Premium Audio with Dynamic Navigation which upgrades to a 12.3-inch touch screen, nine JBL speakers including a subwoofer and amplifier. Remote Connect is also available for your smartphone or smartwatch, which has guest driver features, vehicle status alert, vehicle finder, door lock/unlock, and remote start capabilities.

Safety is always one of the most important factors to consider when purchasing a vehicle and Toyota has definitely focused on this area. First on the list is the pre-collision system with pedestrian detection. Other safety features include the Full-speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, and Lane Tracing Assist. The Venza also features automatic toggle between high and low beams by detecting the proximity of upcoming taillights and headlights and switching accordingly. Finally is Road Sign Assist, which uses an intelligent camera to detect important signs ahead and subsequently display them in the Multi-Information Display to alert the driver of upcoming changes on the road.
